MARK SCOTT
I want to help you write and inspire you to achieve your goals. I have experience working with writers and a long history as an educator. My interest in writing is driven, in part, by my love for reading. I offer a range of services and I will update my blog and post samples of my own writing on a regular basis. Born in Switzerland, raised in Boston, and residing in the Seattle area for the past 30+ years, I began my career editing distance learning courses, became a high school social studies teacher, found that I loved editing novels, and earned two master’s degrees in education along the way. I enjoy hiking, SUP, biking, running, reading and traveling, and have two cats.
My mission at Scott Editing is to provide high-quality editorial services that help my clients achieve their goals. Whether you need editing, proofreading, or writing consultations, I am committed to delivering the best results possible in an efficient and effective manner .
